About / Soniform / Est. 2026

Sound, shaped.

Soniform

Soniform builds audio plugins. One tool at a time. Each one does one thing precisely.

The goal isn't to build feature lists. It's to build the tool that makes the decision easier — the one that sounds right immediately, stays out of the way on every channel, and holds up when you check mono.

Started with Mod-Q because a modulation-driven EQ that tracks the audio didn't exist the way it should. Phase Dimension because stereo width that sounds lush without destroying mono compatibility is harder than it should be.

Design Principles 003 Total
01
Precision
Every parameter does exactly what it says. No hidden behaviour, no vague "warmth" knobs that do three things at once. If it's on the interface, it's measurable and intentional.
02
Efficiency
Low CPU is not a feature, it's a baseline requirement. A tool that sounds perfect but costs 30% of your session isn't a tool — it's a liability. Every Soniform plugin runs on every channel without a second thought.
03
Sound
Transparent when you want it, character when you need it. Not every processor should add colour, but every processor should sound like something deliberate was done. There's a difference between neutral and inert.
Held to

What we
hold to.

Not a mission statement. A checklist. If any of these slip, the product doesn't ship.
No trial-and-error parameter naming
No broken mono sum
No misleading CPU headroom
No feature flags that require a manual
Sounds right on the first pass or we redesign it
Ships when it's done, not when it's scheduled
Documentation that fits on one screen
Every build tested at full session load
